Adult Occupational Therapy
Supporting adults to build independence, manage daily activities and work towards meaningful personal goals.
About this Service
Supporting Independence and Meaningful Participation
Our adult occupational therapy services are designed to help people build confidence, maximise independence and participate more fully in everyday life.
We work with adults living with disability, neurological conditions, physical health conditions, mental health challenges and age-related changes.
Occupational therapy focuses on identifying barriers that affect daily functioning and developing practical solutions around each person’s goals. Support may address self-care, household activities, social participation, education, employment and community life.
Depending on individual needs, services may include skill development, environmental modifications, assistive technology recommendations, sensory strategies, fatigue management, cognitive support and capacity-building interventions.
Our therapists take a strengths-based, person-centred approach and tailor support to each individual’s circumstances, goals and priorities.
