Children’s Occupational Therapy
Helping children develop the skills they need for play, school, self-care and everyday routines.
About this Service
Helping Children Build Skills for Everyday Life
At Walnut Occupational Therapy, we support children and young people to develop the skills they need to participate confidently in everyday activities at home, school and in the community. Every child is unique, which is why we provide personalised, family-centred therapy based on your child's strengths, interests and goals.
Our occupational therapists work with children experiencing challenges with fine motor skills, gross motor skills, self-care, emotional regulation, sensory processing, attention, social participation and independence. Therapy can support everyday activities such as dressing, eating, handwriting, organisation, play and classroom participation.
We work closely with families, educators, support workers and other professionals so that therapy strategies are practical and can be incorporated into everyday environments.
Whether your child requires ongoing therapy, goal-focused intervention, assessment or recommendations, our aim is to help them become more independent, confident and engaged in the activities that matter most to them.
